Rev. Stacy DebosE-Dyson, Pastor
Rev. Stacy DeBose-Dyson has been pastoring for eight years. After earning her Master of Divinity from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (LPTS), Rev. Stacy was ordained an Itinerant Deacon at the Indiana Annual Conference when it was held in the Jeffersonville Area. After serving as as an Itinerant Deacon for two years, she was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, she was given the privilege of being appointed to Bethel AME Church in Seymour, Indiana. After one year, she was appointed to Bethel AME Church in Franklin, Indiana. She pastored there for three years before the church closed. During the last year of Bethel, Franklin, she was appointed to St. Paul AME in Corydon, Indiana and started pastoring two churches for one year. After being at St. Paul AME for two years, Rev. Stacy was asked to be the Interim (Supply) Pastor to her home church of Bethel AME Church in New Albany, Indiana, along with St. Paul AME Church in Corydon, IN. What a privilege it is to serve the people in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and to be asked to return to her home church! Rev. Stacy is passionate about serving Jesus, serving the people of God, and teaching. She is the wife of Evangelist Dwight Dyson, who is passionate about serving God, the people of God, and singing. Rev. Stacy DeBose-Dyson is also the mother of two brilliant and outspoken children, Kaelyne and Kendall DeBose-Brown. She has two grandchildren who are the joy of her world, Paisley Louise and Alaia Rain DeBose. Rev. Stacy can always be quoted saying, "Lessons NOT learned, will be repeated!" and she is a staunch advocated for the homeless, hungry, and domestic abuse victims.
